Dr. Campanella and Dr. Clothier take a patient-centered approach to effectively meet the chiropractic needs of all ages. They value hands-on time with patients, which allows them to form relationships to perpetuate a sense of trust. The doctor-patient relationship is crucial to patient compliance.
Dr. Campanella and Dr. Clothier continuously explore avenues that allow them to expand their knowledge, in order to provide better care and education to their patients. Dr. Campanella and Dr. Clothier have the ability to treat pregnant women, geriatrics, pediatrics, sports injuries, complex neurological cases, and those experiencing signs and symptoms of the natural aging process. Dr. Campanella's thriving practice compiles over 12,000 patients all throughout our Rochester community.

Russell Campanella, DC
Russell Campanella, DC, attended St. John Fisher College where he majored in Sport Science and Biology. He then received a doctorate degree from NYCC located in Seneca Falls, NY. He has advanced training in nutrition, pregnancy care, soft tissue massage, flexion distraction, spinal decompression, non-surgical repair of herniated discs, and exercise physiology.
Dr. Campanella has taken a special interest in treatment of sports injuries, headaches, pregnancy care, infant care, herniated discs, neck, and back pain. His practice techniques are diverse and specific to the individual needs of his patients. While he has a finesse for traditional diversified Chiropractic techniques, he also utilizes soft tissue massage, flexion/distraction therapy, and numerous treatment modalities.
Dr. Campanella has invested in state-of-the-art equipment including Aqua Massage, Cold Laser, and Spinal Decompression. This advancement in technology allows Dr. Campanella to provide effective treatment of acute/chronic pain without use of pharmaceutical drugs or surgery. In addition, immediate patient care can be provided due to ample staffing.
Susie Clothier, DC
Dr. Susie Clothier received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from SUNY Brockport in Brockport, NY. Her clinical interests include functional rehabilitation of the spine, chronic pain management, family wellness, athletic performance enhancement, and nutritional supplementation/weight loss.
She is a Reiki II Practitioner and is certified in Graston technique for soft tissue and muscle rehabilitation as well as the Webster Technique for pregnancy and Chiropractic from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Clothier is proficient in Diversified manipulations of the spine and extremities, CBP postural analysis, drop table technique, flexion distraction, cupping therapy, and spinal decompression. Additionally, she is proficient using Activator Technique (a popular technique that many patients look for) and Arthrostim.
Dr. Clothier is dedicated to ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care. She stays current on the science of chiropractic care through continuing education classes and seminars on topics such as severe neck and low back conditions, pregnancy, pediatric care, and spinal decompression.
When she isn’t working she enjoys staying active, being outdoors, cooking and trying new wine.

Klara Carson, ND

Dr. Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Keuka College in 2018. While working on her undergraduate degree, she was also a member of the collegiate women's soccer and golf teams. Her competitive nature and involvement in sports sparked her interest and passion for nutrition and human performance. She continued her education at New York Chiropractic College where she graduated in 2021 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and as a member of Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. While at NYCC, Dr. Shannon earned advanced certifications in Connect-X, Whole Foods and Nutrition, Activator technique, Custom Stabilizing Orthotics, and Sports Science and Human Performance.
Dr. Shannon's techniques include flexion distraction, soft tissue massage, drop table adjusting, activator, diversified manipulation, active release technique, cupping therapy, and spinal decompression. Dr. Shannon blends her expansive set of certifications and treatment methods, recognizing every patient is different, and so are their complaints.
When she is not in the office Dr. Shannon enjoys living a healthy active lifestyle that includes hiking, golfing, and paddle boarding.
Dr. Klara Carson, ND, graduated summa cum laude with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, in Bridgeport Connecticut. She is Board Certified in Naturopathic Medicine and holds a license to practice medicine as a Naturopathic Physician in the State of Vermont. Dr. Carson grew up in Clarence, New York and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental and Forest Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University. It was there she developed an interest in ethnobotany and botanical medicine, and worked in pharmacy until she decided to pursue a naturopathic medical career.
After graduation, Dr. Carson held a residency under Dr. Mary Claire Wise, MD who is Board Certified in Holistic Medicine. During this residency, Dr. Carson was able to hone her clinical skills under an experienced practitioner while putting to use the cutting-edge knowledge and most current research in functional and naturopathic medicine from her specialized educational experience.
Dr. Carson feels the key to complete health involves listening to the body’s symptoms and finding the true underlying cause that can be corrected to bring the body back into balance. She then uses a variety of tools to achieve that balance, including nutrition and dietary supplementation, herbal remedies, homeopathy, counseling, and lifestyle changes. Many of the most common chronic ailments, including fatigue, insomnia, digestive problems, chronic pain, and autoimmune conditions can be greatly improved with naturopathic medicine, and Dr. Carson focuses on each individual to find the specific protocol that is best for you.
Dr. Carson is very excited to be back in the Western New York area. She enjoys making health a way of life, and is passionate about helping others find their own path to health and complete wellness. She has a strong love of nature and music, and enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing, and other outdoor pursuits with her husband, Ben.
